(i) the Pool shall be divided into as many equal parts as there are backed
combinations of one of the Selections running the dead heat for first
place and one of the Selections running the dead heat for third place;
(ii) each part so determined shall be treated separately; and
(iii) dividends shall be calculated by dividing each part amongst the
Investors on each backed combination.
(d) If three or more Selections run a dead heat for first place -
(i) the Pool shall be divided into as many equal parts as there are backed
combinations of any two Selections running the dead heat;
(ii) each part so determined shall be treated separately; and
(iii) dividends shall be calculated by dividing each part amongst the
Investors on each backed combination.
(e) If two or more Selections run a dead heat for second place -
(i) the Pool shall be divided into as many equal parts as there are backed
combinations of the winner and one of the Selections running the dead
heat for second place;
(ii) each part so determined shall be treated separately; and
(iii) dividends shall be calculated by dividing each part amongst the
Investors on each backed combination.
(f) If two or more Selections run a dead heat for second place and the
combinations referred to in Rule 9.3(e) are not backed -
