Pursuant to section 147(2)(iii) of the Land Transport Act 1998, I hereby approve

Calibration Laboratory of the New Zealand Police
(currently known as New Zealand Police Calibration Services)

as a laboratory approved for the purpose of testing the accuracy of any weighing device.

Notice of Granting a Scheduled International Air Service Licence

Pursuant to section 87N(4) of the Civil Aviation Act 1990, sections 41(1) and 42 of the State Sector Act 1988, and to a delegation from the Secretary for Transport dated

22 September 2004, notice is given that, having received an application from Scandinavian Airlines System, of Stockholm, Sweden, John Gibson Bradbury, Deputy Secretary Access and Services in the Ministry of Transport, has granted the airline a scheduled international air service licence to carry on scheduled services for an indefinite term with effect from 23 May 2007.

Notice of Variation of a Scheduled International Air Service Licence

Pursuant to section 87Q(4) of the Civil Aviation Act 1990, sections 41(1) and 42 of the State Sector Act 1988, and to a delegation from the Secretary for Transport dated 22 September 2004, I hereby give notice that John Gibson Bradbury, Deputy Secretary Access and Services in the Ministry of Transport, has exercised the power conferred on him by section 87Q of the Civil Aviation Act 1990, to vary the terms of the scheduled international air service licence issued to Air China International to authorise the airline, as the marketing carrier in a code-share arrangement with a New Zealand operating carrier, to provide return services over the route points in China, optionally via intermediate points, to points in New Zealand and optionally to points beyond New Zealand with such capacity as is filed with and acknowledged by the Secretary for Transport.

This variation took effect on 25 May 2007.
