as an additional Ombudsman, for a period of six months
commencing on 8 June 2007.

on 25 August 2007, and will cease to be established on that
day.

Notice Amending the National Administration Guidelines

Pursuant to section 60A of the Education Act 1989
(incorporating all amendments), the Minister of Education
makes the following amendments to the National Administration Guidelines notified in the New Zealand Gazette, 29 April 1993, No. 58, page 1086 (as amended
in the New Zealand Gazette, 27 June 1996, No. 65, page
1634; New Zealand Gazette, 25 November 1999, No. 177,
page 4229; New Zealand Gazette, 18 December 2003,
No. 173, page 4764 and New Zealand Gazette, 23 December
2004, No. 175, page 4406).

The National Administration Guidelines are amended by
adding the following clauses to NAG (5):
(ii) promote healthy food and nutrition for all students;
(iii) where food and beverages are sold on school premises, make only healthy options available.

This notice will take effect from 1 June 2008.

Education (Early Childhood Centres) Regulations 1998

Cancellation of Licence for an Early Childhood Centre

Pursuant to Regulation 12(1)(d)(ii) of the Education
(Early Childhood Centres) Regulations 1998, and acting
under authority delegated by the Secretary for Education,
I hereby cancel the licence dated 11 October 2004, which
was granted under those Regulations to Aroha Jean Paekau
in respect of Te Roopu Rangatahi o Te Ao Marama
(35067) (04C042), situated at Poihakena Marae, Wainui
Road, Raglan.

This notice shall take effect the day after the date of its
notification in the New Zealand Gazette.
