Transit New Zealand Act 1989

Declaring of New Section of State Highway—State Highway 2A, Waikato Region

Pursuant to section 60 of the Transit New Zealand Act 1989,
the Transit New Zealand Board gives notice that the section
of State highway described in the Schedule is to be declared
to be State highway within the meaning and for the purpose
of the Transit New Zealand Act 1989.

Schedule
At Tauranga, commencing at the roundabout on State
Highway 2A at Mirrielees Road with Harbour Link Bridge
Causeway then proceeding generally easterly and northerly
to the roundabout at the intersection of State Highway 2 and
Tasman Quay; a distance of 2.3 kilometres.

Development hereby gives notice as follows.

  2. The notice referred to in the First Schedule hereto is
    hereby revoked.
  3. The lands described in the Second Schedule hereto is
    hereby released from the provisions of Part II of the Māori
    Affairs Restructuring Act 1989.\n
