Land to be Declared Road and Road to be Stopped—Riverton, Southland District

Pursuant to the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister for Land Information, Ronald Alistair Jolly, Land Information New Zealand:

(a) Pursuant to section 114, declares the land described in the First Schedule to this notice to be road and to vest in the Southland District Council on the date of publication of this notice in the New Zealand Gazette.

(b) Pursuant to section 116, declares the road described in the Second Schedule to this notice to be stopped and, pursuant to section 117(3) the Public Works Act 1981, the road so stopped shall vest in the following manner:

(i) The land firstly described shall vest in Neville Robert McNaughton as to a ½ share and Gillian Kay Crooks as to a ½ share and be amalgamated with the land comprised in Computer Freehold Register SL178/292 subject to all existing limitations and encumbrances.

(ii) The land secondly described shall vest in Michael Gerard Ward and be amalgamated with the land comprised in Computer Freehold Register SL222/47 subject to all existing limitations and encumbrances.

(iii) The land thirdly described shall vest in Kenneth Arthur Tomlin and Rowena Joyce Tomlin and be amalgamated with the land comprised in Computer Freehold Register SL28/176 subject to all existing encumbrances.

(iv) The land fourthly described shall vest in Shona Waikeringa Conroy and be amalgamated with the land comprised in Computer Freehold Register SL53/197 subject to all existing encumbrances.

(v) The land fifthly described shall vest in Rodney John Lonneker and Amanda Kay Dykes and be amalgamated with the land comprised in Computer Freehold Register SL136/141 subject to all existing limitations and encumbrances.

(vi) The land sixthly described shall vest in Michael John Spriggs and Vivienne Mary Spriggs and be amalgamated with the land comprised in Computer Freehold Register SL136/146 subject to all existing limitations and encumbrances.

(vii) The land seventhly described shall vest in Gillian Saunders and be amalgamated with the land comprised in Computer Freehold Register SL105/104 subject to all existing encumbrances.

Notice of Intention to Take Land for Road—Whangarei District

Notice is hereby given that the Whangarei District Council (“the council”), under the provisions of section 23 of the Public Works Act 1981, proposes to take land described in the Schedule hereto (“the land”).

The land is required for road in order to provide for road improvement work at the intersection of Mill Road and Nixon Street by allowing the construction of an additional traffic lane.

The council has the agreement of the other eight owners of the balance 16 shares in the property.
