Oaths and Declarations Act 1957

Officers in the Northland Regional Council Authorised to Take Statutory Declarations

Pursuant to section 9 of the Oaths and Declarations Act 1957, I hereby authorise the holders for the time being of the offices in the service of the Northland District Council specified in the Schedule below to take statutory declarations under the said Act.

I also hereby revoke all such previous authorisations granted to officers of the Northland District Council under this Act.

Prisoners' and Victims' Claims Act 2005

Notice of End of Process for Making and Determining Victims' Claims

Take notice that, pursuant to Part 2 (subpart 2) of the Prisoners' and Victims' Claims Act 2005 ("the Act"), compensation awarded to Trevor Murdoch Henare was paid to the Secretary for Justice on 4 November 2005, and the surplus was paid into the Victims' Claims Trust Account on 15 December 2005 on behalf of Trevor Murdoch Henare to enable any victims of that offender to make claims against it.

And that on 18 February 2006, notice was given by publication in the daily newspapers in Auckland, Hamilton, Wellington, Christchurch and Dunedin, and the Ministry of Justice website, of the sum of money paid into the trust account, and the entitlement of victims of the offender to claim against this money and the manner to do so.

Under section 48(4) of the Act, the Secretary for Justice has now paid out all of the money held in the trust account on behalf of Trevor Murdoch Henare.

Pursuant to sections 128 and 129 of the Sentencing Act 2002, an order was made in the Napier District Court on 30 March 2007, for the confiscation of the following motor vehicle:
