Agricultural Compounds and Veterinary Medicines Act 1997

Notice of Application to Register a Trade Name Product (Notice No. 1595)

Pursuant to section 14(1) of the Agricultural Compounds and Veterinary Medicines Act 1997, the Director-General of the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry hereby gives notice that the following application has been made to register a trade name product under section 9(1) of the Agricultural Compounds and Veterinary Medicines Act 1997:

Trade Name: Closamectin Injection

Reference: A009911

Active Ingredients and Concentrations:

  • Ivermectin 5g/L
  • Closantel (as Sodium) 125g/L

General Use Claim: Closamectin Injection provides activity against gastrointestinal roundworms, lungworms, liver flukes, mites and lice in and on cattle.

Any person may make a written submission to the director-general, under section 17 of the Agricultural Compounds and Veterinary Medicines Act 1997, concerning any application notified above.

Such submissions:
(a) must state in full the reasons for making the submission;
(b) may state any decision sought on that application;
(c) must be received by the director-general no later than 30 working days after the date of notification in the New Zealand Gazette; and
(d) should be forwarded to the address given below.

A copy of every submission will be forwarded to the applicant for their information.

(b) where the public information relating to the application can be viewed; and
(c) the director-general’s address for service:

Customs and Excise Act 1996

Customs (Import Entry) Amendment Rules 2007 (CR 1D/2007)

Pursuant to section 288(1)(d) and (12) of the Customs and Excise Act 1996, the Chief Executive hereby amends the Customs (Import Entry) Rules 1997.

  1. Title—(1) These rules are the Customs (Import Entry) Amendment Rules 2007.
    (2) In these rules, the Customs (Import Entry) Rules 1997 are called “the principal rules”.
    (
    CR 1D/1997, as amended by CR 1D/2004)

  2. Commencement—These rules shall come into force on 1 June 2007.

  3. Amendment—Form C4G in Schedule 1 of the principal rules is hereby revoked and substituted with the form set out in the Schedule to these rules.

  4. Rules to continue in force—Except to the extent amended by these rules, the principal rules shall remain in force.

  5. Status of Rules—These rules are regulations for the purposes of the Regulations (Disallowance) Act 1989.
