Education Act 1989

Appointment to the New Zealand Qualifications Authority Board

Pursuant to section 249 of the Education Act 1989 and
section 28 of the Crown Entities Act 2004, I appoint

John Langley

as a member of the New Zealand Qualifications Authority
Board.

This appointment will commence on 1 December 2006 and
expire on 30 November 2009.

Education (Early Childhood Centres) Regulations 1998

Cancellation of Licence for an Early Childhood Centre

Pursuant to Regulation 12(1)(d)(i) of the Education
(Early Childhood Centres) Regulations 1998, and acting
under authority delegated by the Secretary for Education,
I hereby cancel the licence dated 6 October 2003,
which was granted under those Regulations to Hineani
Melbourne
in respect of Tawhiti Kohanga Reo (55187)
(06E028), situated at 590 Pukehua Street, RD Waipiro
Bay, Gisborne.

This cancellation also has the effect of cancelling any
provisional licence issued to this service.

This notice shall take effect the day after the date of its
notification in the New Zealand Gazette.
