Definition of Areas
Area A: The Clutha River catchment upstream from the Clyde Dam.
Area B: The Clutha River catchment downstream from the Clyde Dam; the Taieri River catchment and all the coastal catchments between Shag Point and The Brothers Point on the east coast of the South Island.
Registered Game Preserves
(i) Bendigo Hunting Preserve: Bendigo Hunting Preserve is defined as that fenced area of Bendigo Station property at Bendigo, near Lake Dunstan, Central Otago, marked with signposts reading "Bendigo Hunting Preserve".
(ii) Craigneuk Hunting Preserve: Craigneuk Hunting Preserve is defined as approx 513 hectares of Craigneuk Station encompassing the three forks of Dingo Creek and marked on the boundaries with signposts reading "Craigneuk Hunting Preserve".
Shooting Hours
7.00am to 6.45pm Area A; 7.00am to 6.30pm Area B, except that during the period 30 July 2007 to 31 March 2008 inclusive, Canada geese may be hunted or killed 24 hours per day.
Decoy Limit
No limit.
