Television New Zealand (“Free to Air” Broadcast Material – Television) Exemption from National Library Requirement (Electronic Documents) Notice 2006

Pursuant to section 38(2) of the National Library of
New Zealand (Te Puna Mātauranga o Aotearoa) Act 2003,
I, Judith Tizard, the Minister Responsible for the National
Library, notify that Television New Zealand’s “Free to Air”
Broadcast Material (Television) that is archived with the
TVNZ Archive is exempt from the provisions of the National
Library Requirement (Electronic Documents) Notice 2006.

Television New Zealand’s “Free to Air” Broadcast Material
(Television) meets the criterion set out in clause 9(2)(b) of
the National Library Requirement (Electronic Documents)
Notice 2006, namely that it is deposited in an archive
established for the purpose of the long-term preservation
of, and access to, public documents or a class of public
documents.

This notice applies from the date of its publication.
