right of Her Majesty the Queen to all minerals,
mineral oil, gas, metals, coal and valuable stone
under the surface of the land and to the right of
ingress, egress and regress to all persons lawfully
engaged in working such minerals, mineral oil,
gas, metal, coal or stone.

Notice of Intention to Take Land—192–198
Universal Drive, Lincoln North, Waitakere City

Notice is given, in accordance with section 23(1)(b) of the
Public Works Act 1981, that the Waitakere City Council
(“council”) proposes to take part of the land situated at
192–198 Universal Drive, Waitakere City, and more
particularly described in the Schedule hereto, for a public
work as follows:

● The land is required so as to be available for vesting
as road to secure the widening of Universal Drive and
realignment of the roading configuration with respect to
the Universal Drive/Lincoln Road intersection.

● The owner and any persons having a registered interest
in the land have been served with notice of council’s
intention to take the land and right to object.

Any other person wishing to object to the proposed taking
of the said land may forward a written objection to
the Registrar, Environment Court, Department of Courts,
PO Box 7147, Wellesley Street, Auckland, within 20 working
days of the date of publication of this notice.

If any objection is made in accordance with this notice, a
public hearing will be held and the objector will be advised
of the time and place of the hearing and will have the right
to appear and be heard.

Any person requiring further information may contact
Graham Wakefield, Legal Services, on telephone
(09) 836 8000 (extension 8822).

Reserves Act 1977

Revocation of the Reservation Over a Reserve
Specifying the Manner of Disposal and How to
Utilise Proceeds of Sale

Pursuant to the Reserves Act 1977, the Community
Relations/Technical Support Manager for the Bay of Plenty
Conservancy of the Department of Conservation revokes the
reservation as a local purpose (accessway) reserve over
the land as described in the Schedule and declares that the
land may be disposed of by the Whakatane District Council
in such a manner, at a price, and on the terms and conditions
as the council determines, the proceeds from a sale to be
paid into the general funds of the council.
