Road Realignment—State Highway 1, Avalon Drive Bypass, Hamilton City

Pursuant to the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister for Land Information, Charles William Le Breton, Land Information New Zealand:

(a) Pursuant to section 114, declares the land described in the First Schedule of this notice to be declared road which, pursuant to section 88(2) of the Transit New Zealand Act 1989, becomes road, limited access road and State highway and shall vest in the Crown;

(b) Pursuant to section 20, declares that, pursuant to an agreement to that effect having been entered into, the land described in the Second Schedule to this notice is acquired for use in connection with a road and shall vest in the Crown;

(c) Pursuant to section 119(1), declares the land described in the Third Schedule to this notice to be taken as severance and, pursuant to section 119(4), shall vest as stopped government road in the Crown, subject to Part IVA of the Conservation Act 1987 and the Crown Minerals Act 1991

on the date of publication of this notice in the New Zealand Gazette.
