Declaring the Disposition of Land to be Exempt From Section 24 of the Conservation Act 1987

Under section 24B(4)(b) of the Conservation Act 1987, the Minister of Conservation declares that the marginal strip requirements, set out in section 24 of the Conservation Act 1987, shall not apply to the disposition to Genesis Power Limited of the land required in connection with electricity works as the Poutu Canal, part of the Tongariro Power Scheme, specified in the Schedule.

Authorisation of the Exchange of Conservation Area for Other Land

Under section 16A of the Conservation Act 1987, the Conservator for the Wanganui Conservancy of the Department of Conservation authorises the exchange of conservation area described in the First Schedule for the land described in the Second Schedule and further specifies that the land in the latter Schedule be held for stewardship purposes.

Land Acquired for Road—Corner of Prictor Street and Clevedon Road, Papakura

Pursuant to section 20 of the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister for Land Information, Ronald Alistair Jolly, Land Information New Zealand, declares that, an agreement to that effect having been entered into, the land described in the Schedule to this notice is hereby acquired for road and shall vest in the Papakura District Council on the date of publication of this notice in the New Zealand Gazette.
