Misuse of Drugs Act 1975

Revocation of the Prohibition of the Prescribing of all Controlled Drugs

Pursuant to section 23(3) of the Misuse of Drugs Act 1975, I,
David Cunliffe, Minister of Health, on the recommendation
of the Medical Council of New Zealand, hereby revoke the
notice dated the 21st day of September 2005 and published
in the New Zealand Gazette, 29 September 2005, No. 165,
page 4141, which prohibits the prescribing of all controlled
drugs (including methylphenidate and benzodiazepines) by
Dr Ralph Brock-Smith, medical practitioner of Wellington.

Completion of the National Civil Defence Emergency Management Strategy

Pursuant to section 32 of the Civil Defence Emergency
Management Act 2002, the Minister of Civil Defence gives
the following notice.

Notice

Under section 32 of the Civil Defence Emergency
Management Act 2002, I hereby give notice of the
completion of the National Civil Defence Emergency
Management Strategy.

The strategy was presented to the House of Representatives
on 11 December 2007 and, subject to section 35, will come
into force after 15 sitting days.
