Order for Confiscation of Motor Vehicle
Pursuant to sections 128 and 129 of the Sentencing Act
2002, an order was made in the Lower Hutt District Court
on 28 November 2007, for the confiscation of the following
motor vehicle:
1986 Toyota Corolla, Registration No. MH2536.
Against: Lorraine Nancy Ingrey.
Anyone who has a legal interest in this vehicle should
contact the Court urgently (telephone (04) 914 3140) as the
Registrar may sell the vehicle.
This notice is placed pursuant to the Sentencing Regulations
2002.

Agricultural Compounds and Veterinary Medicines Act 1997
Notice of Reassessment of a Registered Trade Name Product (Notice No. 34)
Pursuant to section 14(1) of the Agricultural Compounds
and Veterinary Medicines Act 1997, the Director-General
of the New Zealand Food Safety Authority (NZFSA) hereby
gives notice that a decision has been made under section
29(1) of the Agricultural Compounds and Veterinary
Medicines Act 1997 to reassess the following registered
trade name product:
Trade Name: Keystrepto
Reference: P001369
Active Ingredient and Concentration:
Streptomycin 170g/kg
Formulation Type: Wettable powder
General Use Claim:
Control bacterial diseases of pipfruit, stonefruit and
seedling tomatoes.
Reason for Assessment:
An expert panel was established to examine the
impact of using antibiotics in animals and
horticulture on the development of antibiotic
resistance in human pathogens. Based on the
advice in the expert report, NZFSA indicated that
it would reassess the controls on the relevant
plants compounds, taking into consideration the
stated recommendations. Currently Keystrepto is
the only streptomycin product used in horticulture.
Any person may make a written submission to the
director-general concerning this application. Under sections
16 and 17 of the Agricultural Compounds and Veterinary
Medicines Act 1997, a written submission:
(a) must state in full the reasons for making the
submission; and
(b) may state any decision sought on that application;
(c) must be received by the director-general no later
than 30 working days after the date of notification
in the New Zealand Gazette.
A copy of every submission will be forwarded to the
applicant for the applicant’s information.
