Health Practitioners Competence Assurance Act 2003

Podiatrists (Fees) Amendment Notice 2007

Pursuant to part 6, section 130(1) of the Health Practitioners Competence Assurance Act 2003, the following notice is given.
This notice sets out the fees to be charged by the Podiatrists Board under the Act to be enforceable from 1 April 2008.

Notice

Title and commencement—(1) This notice may be cited as the Podiatrists Annual Practising Certificate Fee Amendment Notice 2007.

(2) This notice comes into force on 1 April 2008.

Fees—The Podiatrists Board has set the following annual practising certificate fees, payable to the board, specified in the attached Schedule A (current) and B (gazetted for introduction on 1 April 2008).
Tax—The fees are inclusive of goods and services tax.

A. PRACTISING CERTIFICATE FEE $
Issue of an annual practising certificate (if paid on or before 31 March 2007) 650.00
Issue of an annual practising certificate (if paid after 31 March 2007 while holding a practising certificate for the previous year) 750.00

B. NEW PRACTISING CERTIFICATE FEE
Issue of an annual practising certificate for the period after 31 March 2008 (if paid on or before 31 March 2008) 800.00
Issue of an annual practising certificate for the period after 31 March 2008 (if paid after 31 March 2008 while holding a practising certificate for the previous year) 900.00

Pursuant to section 24(c) of the Veterinarians (Elections) Regulations 2006, notice is hereby given of the result of the election held on 22 November 2007 to elect three veterinarians to membership of the Veterinary Council of New Zealand.
