I, The Honourable Dr Michael Cullen, Minister of Finance,
hereby give notice that on 18 October 2007, I gave approval,
under section 160(1)(b) of the Crown Entities Act 2004, for
Housing New Zealand Corporation to provide guarantees
to Weathertight Homes Resolution Service claimants and
that on 1 November 2007, The Honourable Chris Carter,
Minister of Housing, gave approval, under section 160(1)(b)
of the Crown Entities Act 2004, for Housing New Zealand
Corporation to provide guarantees to Weathertight Homes
Resolution Service claimants.\n

Civil Aviation Charges Regulations (No 2) 1991

International Passenger Security Charge—

Specification of Exemption in Respect of Certain Persons

Under Regulation 20(2)(g) of the Civil Aviation Charges
Regulations (No 2) 1991, I specify that the amount of the
increase effected by the Civil Aviation Charges Amendment
Regulations (No 2) 2007, that is $2.44, in the international
passenger security charge prescribed in Regulation 20(1),
shall not be payable in respect of any international civil air
passenger who purchased a ticket before 15 November 2007
for departure from New Zealand in the period commencing
on 13 December 2007 and ending on 15 May 2008.\n
This notice comes into force on 13 December 2007.

Domestic Passenger Security Charge—Specification

of Exemption in Respect of Certain Persons

Under Regulation 20A(2)(f) of the Civil Aviation Charges
Regulations (No 2) 1991, I specify that the amount of the
increase effected by the Civil Aviation Charges Amendment
Regulations (No 2) 2007, that is $1.09, in the domestic
passenger security charge prescribed in Regulation 20A(1),
is not payable in respect of any passenger carried on a domestic
sector of an air operation conducted in New Zealand who
purchased a ticket before 15 November 2007 for travel in
the period commencing on 13 December 2007 and ending
on 15 May 2008.

This notice comes into force on 13 December 2007.
