The notice of direction to appoint a limited statutory manager for the board of trustees of Waiouru School (as amended and published in the New Zealand Gazette, 5 July 2007, No. 77, page 1998) is hereby revoked under section 78M(7) of the Education Act 1989.

This notice takes effect the day after the date of its publication.

Notice of Direction for Appointment of a Limited Statutory Manager for the Board of Trustees of Woodbank School (3598)

Pursuant to section 78M of the Education Act 1989, I direct the Secretary for Education to appoint a limited statutory manager for the Woodbank School Board of Trustees because of risks to the operation of the school and the welfare of its students.

The following functions, powers and duties of the board are vested in a limited statutory manager:

• All functions, powers and duties of the board as an employer (whether statutory or otherwise); and
• all functions, powers and duties of the board to manage curriculum and assessment practice (whether statutory or otherwise).

A limited statutory manager must also advise the board on the following:

• Ensuring areas for improvement identified in the current Education Review Office report are implemented; and
• consolidating all new and improved systems into board management practice.

This notice takes effect the day after the date of publication.

Cancellation of Licence for an Early Childhood Centre

Pursuant to Regulation 12(1)(d)(ii) of the Education (Early Childhood Centres) Regulations 1998, and acting under authority delegated by the Secretary for Education, I hereby cancel the licence dated 22 February 2007, which was granted under those Regulations to Elizabeth Pakai in respect of Raroera Te Kakano Early Learning Centre (30076), situated at 510 Te Rapa Road, Hamilton Central, Hamilton.

This notice shall take effect the day after the date of its notification in the New Zealand Gazette.

Supplementary Integration Agreements

Pursuant to section 10 of the Private Schools Conditional Integration Act 1975, notice is given that supplementary integration agreements have been signed between the Minister of Education on behalf of Her Majesty The Queen, acting through the Group Manager, National Operations, Ministry of Education, pursuant to delegated authority, and the proprietors of the following schools:

St Paul’s School, Richmond.

The said supplementary integration agreements were executed on 15 November 2007.
