Road Realignment—State Highway 1, Mercer, Waikato District

Pursuant to the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister for Land Information, R. J. Sutherland, Land Information New Zealand:

(a) Pursuant to section 114, declares the land described in the First Schedule to this notice to be road which, pursuant to section 88(2) of the Transit New Zealand Act 1989, becomes road, limited access road and State highway and shall vest in the Crown on the date of publication of this notice in the New Zealand Gazette.

(b) Pursuant to section 114, declares the land described in the Second Schedule to this notice to be road and shall remain vested in the Crown.

(c) Pursuant to sections 116 and 117, declares the portions of road described in the Third Schedule to this notice to be stopped and further declares, pursuant to section 52(1), shall be set apart for use in connection with a road (segregation strip) and remains vested in the Crown.

(d) Pursuant to section 52(1), declares the land described in the Fourth Schedule to this notice to be set apart for use in connection with a road (segregation strip) and shall remain vested in the Crown.

Reserves Act 1977

Classification and Naming of a Reserve, and Partial Revocation of an Appointment to Control and Manage a Reserve

Under the Reserves Act 1977, the Conservation Support Manager for the Auckland Conservancy of the Department of Conservation classifies and names the reserve described in the First Schedule as the Raroa local purpose (site for Girl Guide hall) reserve and further revokes the appointment of the Girl Guides Association of New Zealand Incorporated to control and manage the reserve described in the Second Schedule.
