Under section 24B(4)(b) of the Conservation Act 1987, and pursuant to a delegation from the Minister of Conservation, the Director-General of Conservation declares that the marginal strip requirements, set out in section 24 of the Conservation Act 1987, shall not apply to the disposition to Contact Energy Limited of the land required in connection with electricity works specified in the Schedule.

Pursuant to section 20 of the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister for Land Information, Charles William Le Breton, Land Information New Zealand, declares that, an agreement to that effect having been entered into, the land described in the Schedule to this notice is hereby acquired for stormwater drainage purposes and shall vest in the Tauranga City Council on the date of publication of this notice in the New Zealand Gazette.
