Alcatel-Lucent Australia Limited

Public Notice of Intention to Cease to Carry on Business in New Zealand

Pursuant to Section 341(1) of the Companies Act 1993

Alcatel-Lucent Australia Limited (Alcatel-Lucent Australia) (formerly Alcatel Australia Limited) has transferred all of its New Zealand operations to its subsidiary (and the Alcatel-Lucent group’s New Zealand holding company) Alcatel-Lucent New Zealand Limited.

Accordingly, Alcatel-Lucent Australia has no need to remain on the Overseas Companies Register and hereby gives notice that it intends to cease to carry on business in New Zealand.

Please Note: The cessation of business in New Zealand by the Alcatel-Lucent Australia will not affect the business which the Alcatel-Lucent group undertakes in New Zealand, but simply reflects a transfer of operations within the Alcatel-Lucent group. Accordingly, the Alcatel-Lucent group’s operations in New Zealand will be unchanged.
