Fisheries (Appointment of Office for Receipt of Notification) Notice 2007 (No. F414)
Pursuant to section 295(1)(c) of the Fisheries Act 1996, the Manager Regulatory and Information, Ministry of Fisheries (acting pursuant to a delegation from the Chief Executive of the Ministry of Fisheries under the State Sector Act 1988), gives the following notice.

Title—This notice is the Fisheries (Appointment of Office for Receipt of Notification) Notice 2007.

Commencement—This notice comes into force on the day after its publication in the New Zealand Gazette.

Interpretation—In this notice, "notification" means a notification to the Chief Executive of the Ministry of Fisheries in writing that a fisher intends to fish for scampi or prawn killer in that fishing year as required by Regulation 71(5) of the Fisheries (Commercial Fishing) Regulations 2001.

Place notification must be provided or received—As from the date this notice comes into force, the place appointed by the Chief Executive of the Ministry of Fisheries for notification is the Fisheries Communication Centre located at Level 16, ASB Bank House, 101–103 The Terrace, Wellington.

- Revocation—The Fisheries (Appointment of Office for Receipt of Notification) Notice 2004 (No. F304) published in the New Zealand Gazette, 30 September 2004, No. 127, page 3119 is revoked.

Explanatory Note
This note is not part of the notice but is intended to indicate its general effect.
This notice provides that the notification to the Chief Executive, Ministry of Fisheries, required under Regulation 71(5) of the Fisheries (Commercial Fishing) Regulations 2001, must be provided to or received by the Fisheries Communications Centre. The existing notice is revoked as the location of the Fisheries Communications Centre has changed and notification must now also be received for fishers who intend to fish for prawn killer as well as scampi.
