exempted by its terms, the terms of any other approved
financial reporting standard or by law;

to apply to annual accounting periods commencing on
or after 1 January 2007; and -
Regulations for the purposes of the Regulations
(Disallowance) Act 1989.
Early adoption of the amendments are permitted for annual
accounting periods commencing on or after 1 January
2005 and before 1 January 2007 but only where an entity
complies, or has complied, with New Zealand Equivalent
to International Financial Reporting Standard 1 First-time
Adoption of New Zealand Equivalents to International
Financial Reporting Standards.
Copies of the amended New Zealand Equivalents to IFRS
may be inspected free of charge at, and will be made available
for purchase from, the offices of the New Zealand Institute
of Chartered Accountants, 40 Mercer Street (PO Box 11342),
Wellington and 27–33 Ohinerau Street (PO Box 3334),
Auckland.

Health Practitioners Competence Assurance Act 2003
Medical Radiation Technologists (Fees) Notice 2007
Pursuant to section 130(1) of the Health Practitioners
Competence Assurance Act 2003, the following notice is
given.
This notice amends the Medical Radiation Technologists
(Fees) Notice 2005, dated the 17th day of March 2005 and
published in the New Zealand Gazette, 17 March 2005,
No. 52, page 1332, setting out the fees charged by the
Medical Radiation Technologists Board under the Act.
The amendment is the addition of new categories of fees for
applications:
- for application for a practising certificate;
- for application for examination set or approved by the
board; - for application to remain on the Register while not
holding a practising certificate; - for application for restoration to the Register
otherwise the fees are as currently exist.\nNotice
- Title and commencement—(1) This notice may be
cited as the Medical Radiation Technologists (Fees) Notice
(2) This notice comes into force on 8 February 2007.

Fees—The Medical Radiation Technologists Board
prescribes the fees, payable to the board, specified in the
attached Schedule. -
Tax—The fees are inclusive of goods and services tax.
