Clause 4: Further condition relating to on-exchange dealing in futures contracts

The authorisation is also subject to the condition, in respect of any futures contract that is made on or effected through a recognised exchange, that any acquisition or disposal of the contract is effected through a person who is an authorised participant or member of the recognised exchange and who is authorised or licensed by the laws of the country in which it operates to deal in futures contracts on behalf of that person and to hold client money for that purpose.

Clause 5: Further condition relating to non-exchange traded futures contracts

The authorisation is also subject to the condition, in respect of any futures contract that is not made on or effected through a recognised exchange, that the terms of such a futures contract:

(a) create obligations that cannot be transferred or terminated by either party to the futures contract without the consent of the other party; and

(b) require that any transfer of obligations under the futures contract can be made only to a person who meets the criteria described in subclauses 3 (3) (c) and (d).

Land Transport Rule: Setting of Speed Limits 2003 (Rule 54001)

Transit New Zealand Act 1989

Amendments to Transit New Zealand Bylaw 2005/7* Maximum Speeds of Vehicles on State Highways

Pursuant to section 61 (3) of the Transit New Zealand Act 1989 and clause 2.6 of the Land Transport Rule: Setting of Speed Limits 2003 (Rule 54001), Transit New Zealand hereby amends the above bylaw as follows:

Amendments

  1. These amendments shall come into force 28 days after publication in the New Zealand Gazette.

  2. The Transit New Zealand (Maximum Speeds of Vehicles on State Highways) Bylaw 2005/7* is hereby amended by:

    (a) Inserting a new line before line 1 in Schedule 3 to read:

    "Transit NZ Region: 1
    SH No.: SH1F
    Locality: Te Kao
    From (RP): 20/23.880 To (RP): 44/1.074
    Distance from nearest Road/Feature:
    From 30m north of Potahi Road to 45m south of Te Ahu Road.
    Speed Restriction (km/h): 70"

    (b) Replacing line 65 in Schedule 3 to read:

    "From (RP): 363/1.112 To (RP): 363/1.890
    Distance from nearest Road/Feature:
    From 180m north of Hudson Road to 470m north of Hill Street.
    Speed Restriction (km/h): 80"

    (c) Replacing line 66 in Schedule 3 to read:

    "From (RP): 363/1.890 To (RP): 363/3.490
    Distance from nearest Road/Feature:
    From 470m north of Hill Street to 130m south of Woodcocks Road.
    Speed Restriction (km/h): 60"

    (d) Replacing line 67 in Schedule 3 to read:

    "From (RP): 363/3.490 To (RP): 363/4.290
    Distance from nearest Road/Feature:
    From 130m south of Woodcocks Road to 60m south of McKinney Road.
    Speed Restriction (km/h): 80"

These bylaw amendments as made by resolution passed at a meeting of Transit New Zealand held in Wellington 5 July 2006.

Declaring Land to be Held for Conservation Purposes

Under the Conservation Act 1987, the Acting Conservator for the Wellington Conservancy of the Department of Conservation and the Commissioner of Crown Lands, acting under a delegation from the Minister for Land Information, being the Minister responsible for the department of State that has control of the land described in the Schedule, jointly declare that the land is held for conservation purposes.
