Refining Catalysts Group Standard 2006

Interpretation

refining catalyst means a catalyst used in petrochemical applications such as the refining of crude oil, fuels and natural gas, as well as other applications such as methanol production and ammonia purification. Refining catalysts are typically transition metals deposited onto a base of solid aluminium oxide pellets (usually 3-10 mm in diameter)
