Road Realignment—Stoke Street, Oamaru, Waitaki District

Pursuant to the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister for Land Information, Ronald Alistair Jolly, Land Information New Zealand:

(a) Pursuant to section 114, declares the land described in the First Schedule to this notice to be set apart for road and vested in the Waitaki District Council on the date of publication of this notice in the New Zealand Gazette.

(b) Pursuant to sections 116 and 117, declares the portion of road adjoining or passing through the land described in the Second Schedule to this notice to be stopped and, pursuant to section 117 (7), added to the adjoining public utility reserve, subject to the Reserves Act 1977, comprised in Computer Freehold Register OT46/69.

Railway Land Acquired for Pedestrian Accessway

—State Highway No. 88, Sawyers Bay, Dunedin

Pursuant to sections 20 and 50 of the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister for Land Information, Roger Kenneth McLeod, Land Information New Zealand, declares that, pursuant to an agreement to that effect having been entered into, the land described in the Schedule to this notice is acquired for pedestrian accessway and shall vest in the Dunedin City Council on the date of publication of this notice in the New Zealand Gazette.

Reserves Act 1977

Declaration That Land is a Reserve

Under the Reserves Act 1977, the Chief Executive Officer for the Southland District Council certifies that the following resolution was passed by the Southland District Council on 30 June 2004:

“In exercise of the powers conferred on it by Section 14 of the Reserves Act 1977 the Southland District Council resolves that the piece of land held in fee simple by the said Council and comprised in Certificate of Title 105135 be declared to be a local purpose reserve (War Memorial site) to be known as the ‘Ryal Bush War Memorial Reserve’.”
