Auckland Agricultural Pastoral and Industrial Shows Board Act 1972

Amendment to the Second Schedule to the Auckland Agricultural Pastoral and Industrial Shows Board Act 1972

Notice is hereby given that:

(a) A mutual agreement dated 27 February 2006, has been entered into between the Auckland Agricultural Pastoral and Industrial Shows Board, the Auckland Agricultural and Pastoral Association, and the Auckland Manufacturers Association Incorporated, in terms of section 9(1) of the Auckland Agricultural Pastoral and Industrial Shows Board Act 1972, and a copy of the said agreement has been filed with the head office of the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry at Wellington.

(b) Approval is given in terms of section 9 (3) of the Act, to the second part of the Second Schedule to the Act being amended in the following manner by adding a new clause 14 as follows:

14 To acquire and hold, for the purposes of this Act, any on-licence or any other licence within the meaning of the Sale of Liquor Act 1989 or any succeeding legislation, in respect of any premises or facilities comprised in the Board’s property which are under the control or management of the Board, or authorise any tenant or lessee or sub-lessee to acquire and hold any such licence.

And renumbering the existing clause 14 as clause 15 and renumbering the existing clause 15 as clause 16.

(c) This notice shall come into operation on the day after the date of its publication in the New Zealand Gazette.
