Pursuant to section 72I (3A) of the Civil Aviation Act 1990, I, John Douglas Stanton, Team Leader – Continuing Airworthiness, acting under a delegation from the Director of Civil Aviation, hereby issue the following airworthiness directives in respect of aircraft or aeronautical products:

These airworthiness directives shall come into force on 1 June 2006.
An emergency airworthiness directive was issued with an effective date as follows:
DCA/BRANTLY/2 on 4 May 2006.

Civil Aviation Rules—Notification of Ordinary Rules
In accordance with section 34 (2) of the Civil Aviation Act 1990, notice is hereby given that the Acting Minister of Transport signed the following ordinary Civil Aviation Rules on 29 May 2006 which will come into force on 29 June 2006:
Part 125—Air Operations – Medium Aeroplanes, Amendment 9 (CAA Docket 6/CAR/4)
These ordinary rules are available for inspection at the Civil Aviation Authority of New Zealand, 10 Hutt Road, Petone.

Tertiary Education Commission
Industry Training Act 1992
New Zealand Journalists Training Organisation Incorporated
Pursuant to section 5 of the Industry Training Act 1992, provisional recognition is granted for the New Zealand Journalists Training Organisation Incorporated to set standards at Levels 1 to 8 on the National Qualifications Framework for the news and feature reporting industry (including print, radio and television) for a period of one year with effect from 20 April 2006.

Pursuant to section 5 of the Industry Training Act 1992, an extension of coverage has been granted for Opportunity – The Training Organisation Limited to set standards at Levels 1 to 8 on the National Qualifications Framework for the power-operated elevating work platform industry with effect from 1 June 2006.
The full description of Opportunity – The Training Organisation Limited’s coverage is as follows:
- Power crane industry – the operation of all forms of cranes including mobile, crawler, tower, truck mounted, travelling gantry, and overhead cranes, container and harbour cranes, crane site supervision and the rigging and slinging of loads.
- Scaffolding, rigging and industrial rope access industries.
