Reserves Act 1977

Revocation of the Reservation Over a Reserve, Specifying the Manner of Disposal and How to Utilise Proceeds of Sale

Pursuant to the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the Minister of Conservation, the Community Relations Manager for the Northland Conservancy of the Department of Conservation hereby revokes the reservation as a local purpose (esplanade) reserve over the land described in the Schedule and declares that the land may be disposed of by the Far North District Council at current market value, the proceeds of such sale to be paid into council’s reserves account, to be used and applied in or towards the improvement of other reserves under the control of the council, or in or towards the purchase of other land for reserves.
