Telecommunications Act 2001
Notice for Submissions on Draft Code for Co-location of Radiocommunications Facilities
Pursuant to Schedule 2 of the Telecommunications Act 2001, the Telecommunications Carriers’ Forum has prepared a draft code for the co-location of radiocommunications facilities for regulated telecommunications services.
The specified services to which this draft code relates, as described in Part 3 to Schedule 1 of the Act, are:
(i) for the co-location on cellular mobile transmission sites; and
(ii) for the co-location of equipment for fixed telecommunications services at sites used by Broadcast Communications Limited.
A copy of the draft code can be downloaded from Telecommunications Carriers’ Forum web site at: http://www.tcf.org.nz/

Levy on South Island Beehives
Under the Biosecurity (Varroa (South Island) Beekeeper Levy) Order 2005, the Varroa Agency Incorporated hereby notifies its levy for the 2006-2007 levy year.
The Varroa Agency Incorporated is the management agency for the National (South Island) Varroa Pest Management Strategy.
This strategy is partly funded by the above levy, imposed on beekeepers owning beehives in the South Island.
The Varroa Agency Incorporated has set the levy for the levy year commencing 1 June 2006 and ending 30 May 2007 at
$1.38 per hive plus G.S.T.
or a total payment of
$10.00 plus G.S.T. for beekeepers owning fewer than five hives.
The amount is calculated on the number of registered beehives owned by the beekeeper as recorded at 31 March 2006 on the apiary register maintained under the Biosecurity (National American Foulbrood Pest Management Strategy) Order 1998.

Veterinary Council of New Zealand Fees Notice 2006
Pursuant to section 97 of the Veterinarians Act 2005, the Veterinary Council of New Zealand (“the council”) in this notice sets the fee categories to be charged by the council under the Veterinarians Act 2005.
Notice
- Title, commencement and revocations—(1) This notice may be cited as the Veterinary Council of New Zealand Fees Notice 2006.
(2) This notice comes into force on the 28th day after its notification in this New Zealand Gazette.
(3) All previous fees notices are revoked.

Fees—The council sets the following fees, payable to the council, specified in the attached Schedule.

Tax—The fees are inclusive of goods and services tax.

Rebate—The council retains the right to rebate the annual practising certificate fee by a specified amount for early payment. The council is under no obligation to accept a lower fee than the gazetted fee at any other time than that notified to veterinarians on the form for the application for a practising certificate.

Annual practising certificate for new graduates from Massey or new graduates from overseas universities who, having just completed their courses, are eligible for registration close to the end of the calendar year, the practising certificate being valid until 31 March the following year (this includes those who have successfully completed the New Zealand National Veterinary Examination or the Australian equivalent examination)
