Public Works Act 1981

Land Acquired for Stormwater Pond—Nesdale Avenue, Wiri, Manukau City

Pursuant to section 20 of the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister for Land Information, Ronald Alistair Jolly, Land Information New Zealand, declares that, an agreement to that effect having been entered into, the land described in the Schedule to this notice is hereby acquired for the purposes of a stormwater pond, subject to section 27B of the State-Owned Enterprises Act 1986, Part IVA of the Conservation Act 1987, section 3 of the Petroleum Act 1937, section 8 of the Atomic Energy Act 1945, section 3 of the Geothermal Energy Act 1953, sections 6 and 8 of the Mining Act 1971, and sections 5 and

261 of the Coal Mines Act 1979, and shall vest in the Manukau City Council on the date of publication of this notice in the New Zealand Gazette.

Road Realignment—State Highway No. 3, Devon Road, Bell Block, New Plymouth District

Pursuant to the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister for Land Information, Ronald Alistair Jolly, Land Information New Zealand:

(a) Pursuant to section 114, declares the land described in the First Schedule to this notice to be road which, pursuant to section 88 (2) of the Transit New Zealand Act 1989, becomes road, limited access road and State highway and shall vest in the Crown;

(b) Pursuant to section 52, declares the land described in the Second Schedule to this notice to be set apart for use in connection with a road (segregation strip) and to remain vested in the Crown;

(c) Declares the land described in the Third Schedule to this notice to be taken, pursuant to section 119, and shall be amalgamated with the land in Computer Freehold Register 244901, subject to statutory land charge 6710969.2, section 11 of the Crown Minerals Act 1991 and Part IVA of the Conservation Act 1987 on the date of publication of this notice in the New Zealand Gazette.
