Animal Products (Amendment to Incorporated Material) Notice 2006, Notice (No. 1) (No. 1513)
Pursuant to section 168 (5) of the Animal Products Act 1999, I give notice that the following amendment to the applicable meat act regime regulations, circulars and directives, listed in Schedule 1 of the Animal Products (Ancillary and Transitional Provisions) Regulations 2000, shall take effect on the date of publication of this notice.
Notice
- Manual 16: Post-mortem Inspection Procedures (issued September 2000), section 6.1 is amended by Amendment No. 7, issued October 2005.
- Copies of Manual 16: Post-mortem Inspection Procedures as amended by Amendment No. 7 can be:
(a) inspected free of charge at the head office of New Zealand Food Safety Authority, South Tower, 68-86 Jervois Quay, (P O Box 2835), Wellington; or
(b) obtained from the web site: www.nzfsa.govt.nz
or

Mahoenui School (2184) Closure Notice
Pursuant to section 154 of the Education Act 1989, I hereby declare that Mahoenui School, King Country area, will close on 26 April 2006 and will cease to be established on that day.

The Waikato Institute of Technology Notice 2006
Pursuant to section 170 of the Education Act 1989, the Minister of Education gives the following notice.
Notice
- This notice may be cited as the Waikato Institute of Technology Notice 2006.
- This notice shall come into force on the date of its publication in the New Zealand Gazette.
- The constitution of the Waikato Institute of Technology Council shall be amended in a manner that complies with section 171 of the Education Act 1989 and whereby the composition of the council shall be as set out below:
(a) Four members appointed by the Minister of Education.
(b) The Chief Executive Officer of the Waikato Institute of Technology.
(c) One permanent member of the academic staff of the Waikato Institute of Technology elected by the permanent members of that staff.
(d) One permanent member of the general staff of the Waikato Institute of Technology elected by the permanent members of that staff.
(e) One member who is appointed in accordance with the constitution or rules of the compulsory students association of the institute or otherwise in accordance with section 171 (2) (e) (ii) of the Education Act 1989.
(f) One member who is appointed in keeping with the intent of section 171 (2) (f) (i) of the Education Act 1989, being one person appointed in accordance with the council’s constitution after consultation by the person or body making the appointment with the central organisation of employers within the meaning of the Labour Relations Act 1987.
(g) One member who is appointed in keeping with the intent of section 171 (2) (f) (ii) of the Education Act 1989, being one person appointed in accordance with the council’s constitution after consultation by the person or body making the appointment with the central organisation of workers within the meaning of the Labour Relations Act 1987.
(h) One iwi representative nominated by the Waikato Raupatu Lands Trust Executive after consultation with Te Arikinui Dame Te Atairangikaahu, or her successors.
(i) One member appointed by the Waikato Institute of Technology Council, drawn from community cluster groups, namely:
