Pursuant to section 20 (1) of the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister for Land Information, Ronald Alistair Jolly, Land Information New Zealand, declares that, pursuant to an agreement to that effect having been entered into, the land described in the Schedule to this notice is to be acquired for road which, pursuant to section 60 (2) of the Transit New Zealand Act 1989, shall form part of State Highway No. 87 and shall vest in the Crown on the date of publication of this notice in the New Zealand Gazette.

Te Ture Whenua Māori Act 1993

Setting Apart Māori Freehold Land as a Māori Reservation

Pursuant to section 338 (1) of Te Ture Whenua Māori Act 1993, on the recommendation of the Māori Land Court, the Māori freehold land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby set apart as a Māori reservation for the purpose of protection of the stream, the fauna and flora and promotion of recreational and cultural activities in relation thereto to be known as Parangarahu B1B3 Māori Reservation for the common use and benefit of the landowners and their descendants, identified by whakapapa to the following tupuna; Eru Pohe, Hamuera, Aperahama, James Hemi Tono, Rewiti Kino, Pita Kino, Rihi Kino, Wiri Kono and Ihapera Kino.
