Classification of Reserve, Vesting in the Southland District Council and Naming of Reserve

Under the Reserve Act 1977, the Community Relations Manager for the Southland Conservancy of the Department of Conservation classifies the reserve described in the Schedule as a recreation reserve and vests the reserve in the Southland District Council in trust for that purpose, and declares that the reserve shall be known as the Ivon Wilson Park Recreation Reserve.

Change of the Classification of a Reserve and Naming of a Reserve

Under the Reserves Act 1977, the Community Relations Manager for the Southland Conservancy of the Department of Conservation changes the classification of the reserve described in the Schedule from a scenic reserve to a recreation reserve, subject to the provisions of the Act, and declares that the reserve shall be known as the Ivon Wilson Park Recreation Reserve.

Declaration That Land is a Reserve

Pursuant to the Reserves Act 1977, the principal administrative officer of the New Plymouth District Council hereby notifies that on 6 March 2002, the New Plymouth District Council passed the following resolution:

"That in exercise of the powers conferred on it by section 14 of the Reserves Act 1977, the New Plymouth District Council resolves that the land held by the said district in fee simple and described in the Schedule hereto, shall be, and is hereby declared to be a Local Purpose Reserve (Accessway) within the meaning of the said Act."

Te Ture Whenua Māori Act 1993

Recommendation That Other Land be Included in a Māori Reservation and Redefining the Class of Persons for Whose Benefit and Use a Reservation is Made

Pursuant to section 338 (2) of Te Ture Whenua Māori Act 1993, on the recommendation of the Māori Land Court, the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby included in the Māori Reservation known as Matapouri 49 Māori Reservation which was set apart by notice published in the New Zealand Gazette, 2 June 1977, No. 63, page 1567, for the purpose of a marae site for the common use and benefit of Te Whānau a Rangiwhakahu hapū.

Pursuant to section 338 (5) (d) of Te Ture Whenua Māori Act 1993, on the recommendation of the Māori Land Court, the persons for whose use and benefit the land described in the Schedule hereto was set apart as a Māori Reservation by notice published in the New Zealand Gazette, 2 June 1977, No. 63, page 1567, is hereby redefined as being for the common use and benefit of Te Whānau o Rangiwhakahu.
