Tax Administration Act 1994

Notice of Determination of Tax Depreciation Rates

  1. This is a notice made under section 91AAK of the Tax Administration Act 1994 of a depreciation determination issued by the Commissioner of Inland Revenue under section 91AAF of that Act.

  2. "Determination DEP60: Tax Depreciation Rates General Determination Number 60" sets the new economic depreciation rates for builders’ planks (wooden). It was signed on 20 November 2006, and will appear in Inland Revenue’s Tax Information Bulletin, Vol. 19, No. 1, of February 2007.

  3. A copy of the determination may be obtained by writing to the Team Manager (Technical Services), Office of the Chief Tax Counsel, National Office, Inland Revenue, P.O. Box 2198, Wellington.

Pursuant to sections 128 and 129 of the Sentencing Act 2002, an order was made in the Christchurch District Court on 22 November 2006, for the confiscation of the following motor vehicle:

Amendment to the Gambling Act (Casino Gambling Equipment) Minimum Standard 2004 – Multi-terminal Gaming Machines

The Gambling Act (Casino Gambling Equipment) Minimum Standard 2004 has been amended pursuant to section 327 of the Gambling Act 2003.

The amendment to these standards will take effect on 1 December 2006.

Copies of the amendment to the Gambling Act (Casino Gambling Equipment) Minimum Standard 2004 may be obtained from the Department of Internal Affairs web site www.dia.govt.nz
or by writing to Gambling Compliance Group, Department of Internal Affairs, P.O. Box 805, Wellington.
