Land Transport Rule: Light-vehicle Brakes 2002

Traffic Regulations 1976

Approval of Brake Testing Device

Pursuant to Regulation 88 of the Traffic Regulations 1976, and pursuant to sub-clause 4.6 (1) of Land Transport Rule: Light-vehicle Brakes 2002, and pursuant to the powers delegated to me by the Director of Land Transport, I, Laszlo Andras Hidvegi, Principal Vehicle Engineer, hereby approve the brake testing devices specified in Schedule 1 of this notice for the purpose of testing brakes according to the requirements of Regulation 68 of the Traffic Regulations 1976 and clause 2.2 of Land Transport Rule: Light-vehicle Brakes 2002, subject to the conditions specified in Schedule 2.

Schedule 2

Conditions

The brake testing device must only be used under the operating circumstances and in a manner specified by the manufacturer in the operator’s manual.
