(b) Pursuant to sections 116 and 117, declares the portions of road adjoining or passing through the land described in the Second Schedule to this notice to be stopped and, pursuant to section 120 (3), amalgamated with the land in Computer Freehold Register 166038, subject to mortgage 932310.2 to ASB Bank Limited, Part IVA of the Conservation Act 1987, section 11 of the Crown Minerals Act 1991, a right of way in gross over part Section 2, SO 335532; marked "W", "X" on SO 335532 to Her Majesty the Queen created by easement instrument 6093356.2, 6093356.3 conservation covenant, pursuant to section 77 of the Reserves Act 1977, over part Section 2 on SO 335532; marked "X", "Y", "Z" on SO 335532, and appurtenant to Sections 1-2, SO 335532, hereto is a right of way created by deed of easement 6689578.1 on the date of publication of this notice in the New Zealand Gazette.

Reserves Act 1977

Reclassification of Local Purpose Reserve

Section 24(A) of the Reserves Act 1977 allows the Queenstown Lakes District Council ("the council") to change the purpose of a local purpose reserve.

Under the provisions of the Reserves Act 1977, the council passed a resolution at its meeting of 29 September 2006, to change the purpose from local purpose (site for a playcentre) reserve to local purpose (amenity) reserve in respect of the land described in the Schedule hereto.

All that piece of land, being 399 square metres, and described as Section 1, Block IX, Town of Queenstown (New Zealand Gazette, 30 August 1979, No. 82, page 2580), SO 14826.

Authorisation of the Exchange of Part of a Reserve for Other Land

Under the Reserves Act 1977, the Community Relations/Technical Support Manager for the Bay of Plenty Conservancy of the Department of Conservation authorises the exchange of that part of the reserve described in the First Schedule for the land described in the Second Schedule.

Revocation of the Authorisation of an Exchange of Part of a Reserve for Other Land

Under the Reserves Act 1977, the Conservator for the Bay of Plenty Conservancy of the Department of Conservation revokes the authorisation published in the New Zealand Gazette, 14 September 2006, No. 107, page 3201, authorising the exchange of that part of the Mangaone Scenic Reserve described in the First Schedule for the land described in the Second Schedule.
