Revocation of the Reservation Over a Reserve Specifying the Manner of Disposal and How to Utilise Proceeds of Sale

Under the Reserves Act 1977, the Community Relations Manager of the Nelson/Marlborough Conservancy of the Department of Conservation revokes the reservation as local purpose (drainage) reserve over the land described in the Schedule and declares that the land may be disposed of by the Marlborough District Council, at current market value,

for amalgamation with the adjoining title (Computer Freehold Register MB2B/331), the proceeds of such sale to be paid into the council’s reserves account, to be used and applied in or towards the improvement of other reserves under the control of the council or in or towards the purchase of other land for reserves.

Declaration That Land is a Reserve—Signal Hill, Otago Land District, Dunedin City Council

Pursuant to section 14 of the Reserves Act 1977, the following resolution was passed by the Dunedin City Council on 4 December 2000:

“In exercise of the powers conferred on the Dunedin City Council by section 14 of the Reserves Act 1977, the said Council resolves that the parcels of land held by it in fee simple and described below are declared to be a reserve within the meaning of the said Act and shall be held for the purposes of a recreation reserve.

Te Ture Whenua Māori Act 1993

Declaring Land to be Included in a Māori Reservation, Other Land to be Excluded From the Māori Reservation, and Redefining the Purposes for the Māori Reservation and the Class of Persons for Whose Use or Benefit the Māori Reservation is Held

Pursuant to section 338 (2) of Te Ture Whenua Māori Act 1993 (“the Act”), on the recommendation of the Māori Land Court, the Māori freehold land described in the First Schedule hereto is hereby set apart as a Māori reservation to be added to and administered with the Māori freehold land described in the Second Schedule hereto which was set aside as a Māori reservation by notice published in the New Zealand Gazette, 24 September 1981, No. 114, page 2684 (“the first notice”).

And further, pursuant to section 338 (5) (a) of the Act, on the recommendation of the Māori Land Court, the lands described in the Third Schedule hereto, which were included in the Māori reservation by notice published in the New Zealand Gazette, 22 March 1990, No. 43, page 957 (“the second notice”), are hereby excluded from the Māori reservation
