Pursuant to section 20 of the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister for Land Information, Stephen Robert Gilbert, Land Information New Zealand, declares that, pursuant to an agreement to that effect having been entered into, the land described in the Schedule to this notice is acquired for motorway purposes and shall vest in the Crown on the date of publication of this notice in the New Zealand Gazette.

Road Realignment—Walter Road, Douglas, Stratford District

Pursuant to the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister for Land Information, Stephen Robert Gilbert, Land Information New Zealand:

(a) Pursuant to section 114, declares the land described in the First Schedule to this notice to be road and vested in the Stratford District Council;

(b) Pursuant to sections 116 and 117, declares the portions of road described in the Second Schedule to this notice to be stopped and, pursuant to section 120 (3):

(i) the land firstly and thirdly described shall be amalgamated with the land in Computer Freehold Register TN264/88, subject to mortgage 245629.5;

(ii) the land secondly and fourthly described shall be amalgamated with the land in Computer Freehold Register 118889, subject to mortgage 6553518.5;

(c) Declares the land described in the Third Schedule to this notice to be taken as severance, pursuant to section 119, and shall be amalgamated with the land in Computer Freehold Register TN264/88, subject to mortgage 245629.5 on the date of publication of this notice in the New Zealand Gazette.
