Reserves Act 1977

Classification and Naming of Reserve

Under the Reserves Act 1977, the Community Relations Manager for the Auckland Conservancy of the Department of Conservation classifies the reserve described in the Schedule as a scientific reserve for the purposes specified in section 21 (1) of the Act and declares that the scientific reserve is to be known as the Motu Manawa/Pollen Island Scientific Reserve.

Change of Classification of Part of a Reserve

Under the Reserves Act 1977, the Community Relations Manager for the Auckland Conservancy of the Department of Conservation changes the classification of that part of the reserve described in the Schedule from a recreation reserve to a local purpose (community buildings) reserve.

Under the Reserves Act 1977, the Acting Community Relations and Technical Support Manager for the Bay of Plenty Conservancy of the Department of Conservation authorises the exchange of that part of the Mangaone Scenic Reserve described in the First Schedule for the land described in the Second Schedule.

Declaration that Land is a Recreation Reserve

Pursuant to section 14 of the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the Minister of Conservation, the Rodney District Council hereby notifies that a resolution was adopted by the Rodney District Council at its meeting on 27 July 2006, declaring the firstly described parcel of land in the Schedule hereto as a recreation reserve subject to the Reserves Act 1977, subject to Part IVA of the Conservation Act 1987 and subject to section 11 of the Crown Minerals Act 1991; declaring the secondly described parcel of land in the Schedule hereto as a recreation reserve subject to the Reserves Act 1977 and subject to drainage right in gross over parts marked "A" and "C" on SO 349139 in favour of Rodney County Council created by transfer B424478.1; and declaring the thirdly described parcel of land in the Schedule hereto as a Recreation Reserve subject to the Reserves Act 1977.
