Munich Reinsurance Company of Australasia Limited

Proposed Release of Deposit

Pursuant to the Insurance Companies’ Deposits Act 1953

Munich Reinsurance Company of Australasia Limited (hereinafter called “the company”) has given notice to Public Trust that it has ceased to carry on the business of insurance in New Zealand and that it proposes to withdraw, pursuant to section 19 of the Act, the deposit which has been made by it with Public Trust.

Public Trust therefore gives notice, pursuant to section 19 (3) of the Act, that, being satisfied that all liabilities of the company in New Zealand in respect of such insurance business have been fully liquidated or provided for, it proposes to release to the company on or after the 28th day of September 2006, the amount deposited by the company.

Any objections to the release of the amount deposited should be lodged with Public Trust, 141 Willis Street, Wellington 6011, on or before the 20th day of September 2006.

Proposed Release of Deposit

Pursuant to the Insurance Companies’ Deposits Act 1953

Atradius Namur SA (hereinafter called “the company”) has given notice to Public Trust that it has ceased to carry on the business of insurance in New Zealand and that it proposes to withdraw, pursuant to section 19 of the Act, the deposit which has been made by it with Public Trust.

Public Trust therefore gives notice, pursuant to section 19 (3) of the Act, that, being satisfied that all liabilities of the company in New Zealand in respect of such insurance business have been fully liquidated or provided for, it proposes to release to the company on or after the 2nd day of October 2006, the amount deposited by the company.

Any objections to the release of the amount deposited should be lodged with Public Trust, 141 Willis Street, Wellington 6011, on or before the 25th day of September 2006.

Injury Prevention, Rehabilitation, and Compensation Act 2001

Notice of Proposal to Recommend Changes to the Injury Prevention, Rehabilitation, and Compensation (Liability to Pay or Contribute to Cost of Treatment) Regulations 2003

Pursuant to section 324 of the Injury Prevention, Rehabilitation, and Compensation Act 2001, the Accident Compensation Corporation (ACC) gives notice of its intention to recommend to the Minister for ACC that changes be made to the Injury Prevention, Rehabilitation, and Compensation (Liability to Pay or Contribute to Cost of Treatment) Regulations 2003.

A period of public consultation on the proposed Regulations is also notified and details are given below:

  1. An explanation of ACC’s proposal to recommend that such Regulations be made, as well as the proposed Regulations, are contained in the document titled Cost of Treatment Regulations Consultation Document (Adjustment to Specified Treatment Provider Rates), which may be obtained:

    • from the ACC web site, www.acc.co.nz
    • by emailing treatment.costs@acc.co.nz
    • by telephoning ACC on (04) 918 7700
    • by writing to:
      Cost of Treatment Consultation, Strategy and Policy, ACC, P.O. Box 242, Wellington.
  2. Written submissions on the proposed Regulations are invited from members of the public and interested organisations.

  3. The last date on which ACC will receive written submissions on the proposed Regulations is 20 October 2006.

  4. Submissions are to be forwarded to:
    Cost of Treatment Consultation, Strategic Policy and Research Group, ACC, P.O. Box 242, Wellington.
