Land to be Declared Road—State Highway No. 79, Issits Curve, Mackenzie District

Pursuant to section 114 of the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister for Land Information, Stephen Robert Gilbert, Land Information New Zealand, declares the land described in the Schedule to this notice to be road which, pursuant to section 60 (2) of the Transit New Zealand Act 1989, becomes road and State highway and shall vest in the Crown on the date of publication of this notice in the New Zealand Gazette.

Reserves Act 1977

Declaration of Reserve Land

Pursuant to section 14 (1) of the Reserves Act 1977, and a delegation from the Minister of Conservation, Porirua City Council hereby declares the land described in the Schedule hereto to be scenic reserve, to be part of and known as Karehana Bay Scenic Reserve, and that the land shall be held and administered by the council for the purposes and in the manner specified in section 19 (1) (a) of the Reserves Act 1977.

Declaration That Land is a Reserve

Under the Reserves Act 1977, the Community Relations Manager of the Canterbury Conservancy of the Department of Conservation notifies that the following resolution was passed by the Hurunui District Council on 29 June 2006:

“In exercise of the powers conferred on it by Section 14 of the Reserves Act 1977, the Hurunui District Council resolves that the piece of land held by the Hurunui District Council in fee simple and described in the Schedule, shall be and the same is hereby declared to be a Local Purpose (Community Use) reserve within the meaning of the Reserves Act 1977”.

Revoking a Prohibition of Access Other Than by Permit to a Scientific Reserve

Under the Reserves Act 1977, the Community Relations Manager of the Canterbury Conservancy of the Department of Conservation revokes the prohibition of access other than by permit, established by notice published in the New Zealand Gazette, 15 June 1978, No. 53, page 1667, to the reserve for scientific purposes described in the Schedule.
