Declaring Leasehold Estate and Crown Land Set Apart for the Generation of Electricity and Road Stopping—Pukaki and Burke Survey Districts, Mackenzie District

Pursuant to the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister for Land Information, Margaret Anne Kennedy, Land Information New Zealand, declares that, an agreement to that effect having been entered into:

(a) Pursuant to section 20 of the Public Works Act 1981, the leasehold estate in the land described in the First Schedule of this notice is hereby acquired for the generation of electricity and vests in the Crown on the date of publication of this notice in the New Zealand Gazette.

(b) Pursuant to section 52 of the Public Works Act 1981, the Crown land described in the First Schedule to this notice is to be also set apart for the generation of electricity on the date of publication of this notice and to remain vested in the Crown on the date of publication of this notice in the New Zealand Gazette.

(c) Pursuant to section 116 of the Public Works Act 1981, the portions of road described in the Second Schedule of this notice are to be stopped and, pursuant to section 117 (3) (b), be declared Crown land under the Land Act 1948 on the date of publication of this notice in the New Zealand Gazette.

(d) Pursuant to section 107A of the Public Works Act 1981, the portions of road described in the Second Schedule of this notice be amalgamated with the land in Computer Interest Register CB529/16 on the date of publication of this notice in the New Zealand Gazette.
