Biosecurity Act 1993
Approval of Dunedin Airport as a Place of First Arrival (Notice No. 1494)
Pursuant to section 37 of the Biosecurity Act 1993, notice is given that
Dunedin Airport
was approved on 15 December 2005, as a port of first arrival into New Zealand for all types of aircraft.
The written notice of approval may be inspected free of charge at the head office of the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry, Pastoral House, 25 The Terrace, Wellington.

Approval of the Royal New Zealand Air Force Base at Whenuapai as a Place of First Arrival (Notice No. 1493)
Pursuant to section 37 of the Biosecurity Act 1993, notice is given that the
Royal New Zealand Air Force Base at Whenuapai
was approved on 19 December 2005, as a port of first arrival into New Zealand.
This approval:
(a) is for military aircraft, personnel and cargo; and
(b) does not include aircraft carrying fare paying passengers (diversions and emergencies excepted).
The written notice of approval may be inspected free of charge at the head office of the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry, Pastoral House, 25 The Terrace, Wellington.

Crown Entities Act 2004
Reappointments to the Commerce Commission
Pursuant to section 28 of the Crown Entities Act 2004,
Her Excellency the Governor-General has been pleased to reappoint
Donal Francis Curtin
as a member of the Commerce Commission (as established under the Commerce Act 1986) for a three-year term commencing on 21 December 2005 and expiring on 20 December 2008; and
Peter John Morgan Taylor
as a member of the Commerce Commission for a four-year term commencing on 1 February 2006 and expiring on 31 January 2010.
