Notice of Direction for Appointment of a Limited Statutory Manager for the Board of Trustees of Oceanview Heights School (2110)

Pursuant to section 78M of the Education Act 1989, I direct
the Secretary for Education to appoint a limited statutory
manager for the Board of Trustees of Oceanview Heights
School because of risks to the operation of the school and
the educational performance of its students in relation to the
Resource Teachers: Learning and Behaviour (RTLB) Timaru
North cluster, for which Oceanview Heights is the base
school and fundholder.

The following functions, powers and duties of the board are
vested in the limited statutory manager:

In relation to the Resource Teachers: Learning and
Behaviour (RTLB) Timaru North cluster:

• all functions, powers and duties of the board to
  manage the operations of the RTLB cluster (whether
  statutory or otherwise);
• all functions, powers and duties of the board for
  financial management of the RTLB cluster (whether
  statutory or otherwise); and
• all functions, powers and duties of the board as an
  employer in relation to the RTLB cluster (whether
  statutory or otherwise).

This notice takes effect the day after the date of publication.

Tautoro School (2101) Board of Trustees Parent Representative Election Invalidation Notice

Pursuant to clauses 9 (3) and 9 (3A) of the Sixth Schedule
to the Education Act 1989, and acting with authority
delegated by the Minister of Education, I hereby declare
invalid the election for the parent representatives for the
Tautoro School Board of Trustees held on 6 April 2005,
require a new election to be held on 8 July 2005 and declare
that the trustees holding office on 6 April 2005 remain in
office until the close of the day before the day when the new
trustees take office.

Regulations 1998

Cancellation of Licence for an Early Childhood Centre

Pursuant to Regulation 12 (1) (d) (i) of the Education
(Early Childhood Centres) Regulations 1998, and acting
under authority delegated by the Secretary for Education,
I hereby cancel the licence dated 20 July 2004, which was
granted under those Regulations to Norman Dewes in
respect of Te Amorangi Richmond Early Learning
Centre (65159), situated at 349 Woodham Road, North
Linwood, Christchurch.

This notice shall take effect the day after the date of its
notification in the New Zealand Gazette.

Private Schools Conditional Integration Act 1975

Supplementary Integration Agreement

Pursuant to section 10 of the Private Schools Conditional
Integration Act 1975, notice is given that a supplementary
integration agreement has been signed between the Minister
of Education on behalf of Her Majesty the Queen, acting
through the Senior Manager, National Operations, Ministry
of Education, pursuant to delegated authority, and the
proprietor of the following school:

St Mary’s School, Milton.

The said supplementary integration agreement was executed
on 27 May 2005.

A copy of the supplementary integration agreement is
available for inspection without charge by any member of
the public at the local office of the Ministry of Education,
John Wickliffe House, Princess Street, Dunedin.
