to the Hokitika District Scenic Reserve, Hokitika
Gorge, Westland District

Pursuant to section 167 of the Land Act 1948, and to
a delegation from the Minister for Land Information, Arthur
Ross Marbeck, Land Information New Zealand, declares
the land described in the Schedule to this notice be set
apart for scenic reserve for addition to the Hokitika District
Scenic Reserve and remain vested in the Crown.

Notice of Intention to Take Land for Road—Auckland City

Notice is hereby given that the Crown, under the provisions
of section 23 of the Public Works Act 1981, proposes to
take the land described in the Schedule hereto (“the land”).
The land described below is required for road, namely
the construction of the State Highway No. 1 Otahuhu
Interchange, Auckland.

The land is required to alleviate traffic congestion in the
Auckland metropolitan area.

The proposed land use is in accordance with the designation
under the district plan.

The owner of the land and those persons with a registered
interest in it have been served with notice of the Crown’s
intention to take their land and their right to object.

Any other person having the right to object may send
a written objection to the Registrar, Environment Court,
Level Eight, District Court Building, Wellesley Street
(P.O. Box 7147), Auckland, within 20 working days after
the date of publication of this notice.\n
If any objection is made in accordance with this notice,
a public hearing will be heard with the right of the objector to
appear and be heard personally unless the objector otherwise
requires, and each objector will be informed of the time and
place of the hearing.

passing though the land described in the Schedule to this
notice to be stopped and, pursuant to section 120 (3),
amalgamated with the land in Computer Freehold Register
SA13D/1113, subject to mortgage B644709.2 and a right to
convey electricity, water, gas, telecommunications and
computer media, and a right to drain water and sewage as an
easement in gross, as set out in Schedule 4 of the Land
Transfer Regulations 2002, in favour of the Tauranga City
Council.

Hamilton City Council on the date of publication of this
notice in the New Zealand Gazette.

(b) Pursuant to sections 116 and 117, declares the
portion of road described in the Second Schedule to this
notice to be stopped and shall be amalgamated with the land
in Computer Freehold Register SA1A/750.
