Pursuant to section 5 of the Marine Mammals Protection Act 1978, the Director-General of Conservation notifies that the

New Zealand Te Papa Tongarewa on 10 May 2005 to:

• Import/export marine mammal material held within the
  collection to/from authorised institutions or bona fide
  researchers for the sole purpose of research.
