Notice of Approval for Land to be Sold, Otherwise Disposed Of or Modified, Pursuant to Section 5 of the Harbour Boards Dry Land Endowment Revesting Act 1991

Under the Harbour Boards Dry Land Endowment Revesting Act 1991, I, Chris Carter, Minister of Conservation, hereby approve the sale of the following parcels of land currently vested in the Grey District Council, being part of the land described in Part C of the Schedule to the Harbour Boards Dry Land Endowment Revesting Act 1991, under the description “Greymouth Harbour Lands” and being more particularly described in the Schedule.

Schedule

Residential land proposed for sale by the Grey District Council, pursuant to the Reserves and Other Lands Disposal Act 1982 and the Harbour Boards Dry Land Endowment Revesting Act 1991.

Sections 57, 61-68, and 84 and 85, Town of Dobson, being all of the land in Computer Freehold Registers 5A/1329, 5A/1333, 5A/1334, 5A/1335, 5A/1336, 5A/1337, 5A/1338, 5A/1339, 5A/1340, 5A/1356 and 5A/1357, Westland Land Registry. 1.1707 $26,000 Suttons Moss Limited.

In terms of section 5 (2) (c) of the Harbour Boards Dry Land Endowment Revesting Act 1991, the approval shall take effect on the date of this notice.

Māori Land Development Notice

Pursuant to section 21 of the Māori Affairs Restructuring Act 1989, the Chief Executive of the Ministry of Māori Development hereby gives notice as follows.

Notice

  1. This notice may be cited as Māori Land Development Notice, Rotorua 2005, No. 2.
  2. The notice referred to in the First Schedule hereto is hereby revoked.
  3. The land described in the Second Schedule hereto is hereby released from the provisions of Part II of the Māori Affairs Restructuring Act 1989.

Pursuant to sections 24 and 30 of the New Zealand Railways Corporation Act 1981 and section 20 of the Public Works Act 1981, the Chief Executive of the New Zealand Railways Corporation hereby declares that, an agreement to that effect having been entered into, the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby acquired for and on behalf of Her Majesty the Queen for railway purposes.
