Notice of Fees Prescribed by the Medical Laboratory Science Board

This notice replaces the part of the notice by the Medical Laboratory Science Board (“the board”) published in the
New Zealand Gazette, 10 June 2004, page 1631, as it relates to the fee for application to be registered in the scope of practice
of medical laboratory technician.

Notice

Authority—The board prescribes the following fees pursuant to section 130 (1) (a) of the Health Practitioners Competence
Assurance Act 2003 (“the Act”).
Tax—These fees are inclusive of goods and services tax (G.S.T.).

REGISTRATION AND CHANGE TO SCOPE OF PRACTICE FEES:

| 17 of the Act for a person holding a tertiary qualification gained in New Zealand, or a person applying on the
| basis of having relevant experience in a New Zealand medical laboratory

| The fee for application to be registered in the scope of practice of medical laboratory technician under section
| 17 of the Act for a person holding educational qualifications gained elsewhere than in New Zealand
| 260.00
