Mallard Duck and any hybrid of that species 7 May to 8 May 2005 incl. 20
Mallard Duck and any hybrid of that species 9 May to 31 July 2005 incl. 15
Paradise Shelduck 7 May to 31 July 2005 incl. 6
Pukeko 7 May to 31 July 2005 incl. 2
Black Swan 7 May to 31 July 2005 incl. 1
Canada Goose 7 May 2005 to 31 March 2006 incl. No limit
Californian Quail 4 June to 28 August 2005 incl. 5
Cock Pheasant 4 June to 28 August 2005 incl. 5
Chukar Closed season Nil

Shooting Hours
7.00 a.m. to 6.30 p.m. or any period within these hours, except that during the period 1 August 2005 to 31 March 2006 inclusive, Canada Goose may be hunted or killed 24 hours per day during the specified open season.

Decoy Limit
No limit.

Special Conditions
Shooting from boats is prohibited during the month of May 2005 on the Mataura, Aparima, Oreti, Waiau and Waimatuku Rivers and their navigable tributaries.
